Simon Costello
NJC Presenter & Co-founder
Simon previously worked for Virgin Atlantic Airways as a Cabin Service Supervisor for over 12 years for Flybe and Qantas, in addition to 10 Years for The North East Ambulance Service NHS on A&E.
He now works for Swissport as a Dispatch Officer at Newcastle International Airport. However during the Covid-19 pandemic, Simon spearheaded our recruitment drive for crew to use their transferable skills to join the NHS as ambulance crew and NHS networks.
He has helped many with advice and encouraged them to take roles they never thought they could achieve.

Trevor is a design graduate with a passion for communication media and promoting a big image for small companies.
He’s had 25 years as a Flight Service Manager for Virgin Atlantic, delivering their award-winning service.
Trevor also has previous experience running several businesses and being a medical photographer, specialising in orthopaedics.

When Thomas Cook collapsed in 2019, Nathan had been crew for just over 20 years.
Because of his background as crew and as a Business Advisor at Barclays Bank, Nathan is able to explain the pay structures and ensure that crew can maximise their borrowing capacity. Nathan is always happy to discuss his available services and assistance for crew as they make plans for the property ladder. What he offers includes first time buyer mortgages, remortgages, debt consolidation and protection. A large bulk of Nathan’s work now focuses on crew mortgages.
